Antifreeze measures for injection molding machines.
After shutdown in winter, when the indoor temperature is too low, all cooling components on the injection molding machine need to be antifreeze to ensure safe production.
The cooling components on the injection molding machine mainly include: oil cooler (including built-in, external, servo motor small cooler), water-cooled frequency converter, electric pre-molding, mold cooling system, water quality filter, water drain, etc.
Specific antifreeze maintenance measures are as follows:
✔ After shutdown, be sure to clean up the remaining circulating water in the cooling system to avoid freezing and cracking the oil cooler and pipes;
✔ Clean the cooling water drain and residual circulating water in the mold;
✔ If the lubrication pump oil fails to pump properly, add hydraulic oil as an emergency;
✔ Hydraulic oil needs to be preheated to ensure product stability;
✔ Check the seals of the hydraulic system to avoid leakage caused by low-temperature deformation of seals such as O-rings;
✔ The standard process temperature is 5-10℃ higher than that in spring and autumn;
✔ If the temperature is too low, check whether the joints are frozen or bitten;
✔ Check whether electrical and hydraulic components are working properly;
✔ Check whether there are any abnormal noises or loose components to ensure the normal operation of the equipment;
When the injection molding machine is used again, reinstall the water inlet and outlet joints of each cooling element, and pay attention to cleaning the filter on the water inlet pipe of the oil cooler.
The above is the maintenance guide for injection molding machine shutdown and anti-freezing in winter to protect your safe production and improve production efficiency!
